Today I learned that if one watches three episodes of Orange is the New Black and then goes adventuring on her day, those adventures seem surreal. Prison shows yield a weird context on real life. I think that’s enough Netflix for the weekend. But seriously, everybody, it’s a good show. It deserves all the awards it has won.
But I’ve also found out that I enjoy independent living. Like real independent living, which isn’t something I’ve done before. I’m totally responsible for myself, and it’s awesome! I can eat chocolate chips as a meal if I want. Italy gave me a new confidence, and I feel like a real grownup. Step 2: Buy a cheap bike so I’m a bit more mobile. I’m not quite adult enough to own a car, calm down everyone.
