Oscars All Around

Today I learned that helping Kelsie with her film projects is really fun. We acted out the last scene in Inception for her tonight so she could practice panning and over-the-shoulder shots. We turned the intense scene between Di Caprio’s character and his nemesis into a parody. It was extra fun because Ashley and I were cracking up the whole time and giving Kelsie lots of footage for outtakes. She’s using my computer to edit it now so I’m watching Happy Feet 2 withAshley and writing this on my iPad (just like in Italy)!

Speaking of Italy, the real stars of the post are my cousins Jerry and Linda. I got the most wonderful package from them today! Jerry chose two of my photos from Elba to paint and send to me. They’re absolutely beautiful:

I’m so flattered. Of there’s anything positive about having started this blog it’s that it’s brought me closer to a lot of my family. Jerry and Linda, thank you so much. This is the most beautiful manifestation of creativity and love! (Jerry, I hope you don’t mind me sharing, I just can’t help it! I’m so thrilled!)

Happy #100LearnedDays, everyone!
