I make my bed every morning and arrange these two so that when I come home and finally get to go to bed again, I have two comforting faces waiting for me. I’m 22 years old and I still love my stuffed animals as much as I did when I was a little girl. I think it’s important not to forget the small comforts in life. These guys are my most basic small comforts. All my learning was in tidbits today. For example, I learned to be more careful when running participants at the same time as Nicole because it’s easy to get confused about which study people signed up for. I learned that I don’t like dark roast coffee, or at least not the kind Ashley just bought and generously shared with me this morning. I learned that a good upper-body workout can leave my arms feeling like noodles for a significant part of the day. And I’m consistently learning, every day, the value of working hard early in the day so that when I come home I can relax without feeling guilty. I’m too tired now to proliferate and come up with something clever to write, so you’ve got the essentials of my day. Workout, lab, class, home. My life was happily simple today.
Happy #100Learned Days 🙂
